NM 334: Financial Markets & Institutions
The courses listed here are archives of the courses taught at the U.S. Naval Academy from 2023-2026.
The objective of both of these courses was to provide 'The most agreeable volume of financial competencies of naval leaders', which included:
A) personal, business, governmental, and military applications of financial literacy;
B) using financial literacy as a leadership tool; and
C) fundamentals of government fiscal and financial accountability for military procurement and contracting.
These courses were originally built by the Department of Management, which existed from 1971-1984, and re-activated as elective courses for a three year period. (They are mutually exclusive from the economics department electives courses.)
