PORTFOLIO THEORY

This is a presentation of fundamental investment theory concepts and definitions for business students.

The series of videos is intended to provide accounting majors in Financial Statement Analysis an understanding of portfolio theory that is normally taught in a finance major curriculum, but not typical of accounting major curriculums.

For context, this video series covers "modern portfolio theory", which attempts to efficiently match return and risk, and exclusively defines 'return' as stock price change over time; and exclusively defines 'risk' as the mean variance of stock prices over time.
