Formal Teaching Observations:
Paired Peer Observation Report (February 2026): A formative requirement for promotion and tenure and conducted by tenured professors and certified by the university’s Center for Teaching and Learning.
Formative Analysis of Classroom Teaching (March 2024): The goal of the FACT process is to assist faculty members with their own reflective teaching by providing them with anonymous mid-semester feedback from their students. FACTs are conducted by a trained consultant from a different school of study.
